Sticky BBQ Ribs

Fall-off-the-bone ribs in a sweet, smoky glaze. These taste like they've been on a smoker all day.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack pork baby back ribs (about 1kg)
  • 200ml BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Rub all over the ribs.
  2. Cut the rack into sections that fit your slow cooker and stand them up along the edges.
  3. Mix the BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Pour over the ribs.
  4. Cook on LOW for 8 hours until the meat is falling off the bone.
  5. For a sticky finish, transfer to a baking tray, brush with extra BBQ sauce, and grill for 5-10 minutes.

Tips

These are messy to eat. Embrace it. Serve with corn on the cob and coleslaw for the full BBQ experience.
