Ingredients
- 500g lamb mince (or beef mince)
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 200g peas (frozen is fine)
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 150ml beef stock
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt
- Rice, to serve
Method
- Brown the mince in a pan and drain off the fat.
- Add to the slow cooker with onion, garlic, tomatoes, stock, and spices.
- Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours.
- Stir in the frozen peas in the last 30 minutes.
- Season and serve with rice or stuffed into naan.
Tips
Keema is brilliant in samosas, on toast, or stuffed into peppers.
